“West Covina – Galster Park – This park is located on a hill with 3 entrances. It has been closed off because children have been raped and murdered there. People have seen a pathway leading to the house of the murderer. The man would take the children and rape and beat them. If you go there late at night you are able to hear the screams and the pleas of the children. A boy wearing a sweater with a massive scar on his face has been seen standing at the entrance of the first or second gate. He has been seen inviting people into the park. Telling them to come in and see what is inside. The boy has been seen at different ages, one as a child and the other as an adolescent. This place is VERY real.- Extreme precautions should be taken if you dare to enter. This is no joke. a group of investigators where chased out by men carrying knives, this is not a safe place to visit.” -Courtesy of theshadowlands.net
(Photo of park map is down. Sorry)
I’ve never been to this park, and won’t. It’s relatively close to me, a 30 minute drive, then maybe more to find the place. Not sure what the exerpt meant by “Closed off”. I think it’s still open, or else people wouldn’t still have experiences. Maybe it’s taking about the closing hours, which seems to close around 6pm. Looks like a big park, with a lot of trees and trails that lead to nowhere. H and G seem to be isolated points in the woods. Would be scary to get lost at night.
Too much of a coward to investigate such a place. Stories of ghostly kids appearing and screaming. Ropes, nooses hung from trees, and lights flickering. There’s an old house that is said to be where the rapist/murderer lived. But the reality is filled with gangs, which according to one person, “never go there at night”. The cops won’t go in at night, citing that it’s dangerous due to darkness and possibly gangs/weirdos inside.
I would like to visit this place once. Gather a couple, or a dozen brave people who have some experience in ghost-hunting. Just see what’s in store. And hopefully survive the night not scarred for life.

I can’t verify the haunting, because some people claim it’s all fake, and others prove it with their experieces. Gotta take it with a grain of salt. But judging by the picture, a lot of things can happen on these trails. At night, especially.
